The Referral Program’s Live!

We’ve launched the referral program mentioned in this previous post and sent out an email to everyone about it yesterday. Every new signup who references an existing member earns a free review credit towards the 5 needed for their first $10 payout. The person who was listed during the signup receives a great bonus themselves, earning up to 4 review credits ($8) when their referrals achieve certain milestones of approved reviews. Specifically:
* 3 Approved Reviews = 1 review credit
* 10 Approved Reviews = 1 review credit
* 25 Approved Reviews = 1 review credit
* 40 Approved Reviews = 1 review credit
We’ve also launched some buttons that people can use on their site to help promote the community. When someone clicks on any one of them, the sign up page locks the nickname of the account that generated the button, so make sure you login and get your own button code if you’re going to use them. Since I don’t want to earn any referral credits for my own account, I figured I would reward our top 3 reviewers in the last post by placing their nicknames behind the sample buttons below.

Here’s the 300X250 Rectangle:

If you go to the Referral Dashboard you can pull the actual referral link from the image code. Here’s an example: http://www.sharedreviews.com/signup_member?ref_nick=webwizard
[...] Ok, what else is new? We’ll, we’ve added some new features too, like the ability to upload your own videos. We always supported live capture from a webcam attached to your computer, but now you can upload your own WMV, AVI, MOV, and MPG right into the create review interface. Plus, we added approval email notifications as well as released an invitation tool to make it even easier for you to invite all of your friends to the community and earn those referral review credits.
